People's Art Speakers Series

People’s Art
Speakers series will highlight intersections between art and activism in Lawrence.
Featured presenters will
give readings, workshops and lectures on a broad range of topics that have
employed art and artists as a means for articulating and amplifying campaigns for
equity and social justice.

Untold Stories of Social Moments 

EPICenter's coordinating members will research and produce the
exhibition, Untold Stories: Douglas County Social Movements from 1968-2018.
This will include material never exhibited before from the collections of the
Kansas Key Press, C.J. Brune Radical Library and Solidarity Revolutionary
Center among others.

People’s History of East Lawrence Tour

An opportunity for our community to co-create and deepen their understanding of the history, stories and places that have shaped Lawrence through a focus on lesser known stories. Centering voices of witnesses, their descendants, marginalized peoples and local historians.
